Shi7ehlo is a celebration of Arab identity, culture and craftsmanship, bringing handmade creations to the forefront of Bahraini fashion. Its owner, Shahrazad Aljallad, tells us more about the brand’s uniqueness and authenticity.

“To me, clothing is not just a necessity but a creative display of feelings, memories and resilience,” says Shahrazad. Through this concept space, Shi7ehlo showcases an assemblage of unique, handmade pieces from across the Arab region.

The curation process is a delicate blend of collaboration and craftsmanship. “I work with consignments locally and across borders, bringing together Shi7ehlo capsule collections made in Tunis,” Shahrazad explains. “The aim is to offer exclusivity through a fusion of sharing, inspiring and blending. It’s in our uniqueness that we are able to offer something truly special.”

Bahrain’s creative talent is deeply rooted in its history and diversity. 
“Bahrain is a fusion of old and new in every aspect,” she asserts. “It’s vital to utilise this diversity in every domain. By introducing collections that embody these values, Shi7ehlo remains a platform that celebrates self-appreciation and cultural pride.”

Reflecting on the future of fashion trends, Shahrazad emphasises the importance of authenticity over fads. “We have been conditioned to accept fast fashion as the best, but true empowerment lies in choosing quality over quantity.
