Geely Auto has announced record-breaking sales for the first half of 2024, with 955,730 vehicles sold globally, marking a 41 percent increase from the previous year. Notably, international sales surged by 67 percent to 197,428 units. This milestone highlights Geely’s commitment to global expansion, with strategic advancements in product development, service quality and supply chain optimisation.
Key model launches include the Geely Starray in Panama, the new Geely Preface in Saudi Arabia, and the Geely Okavango in Kazakhstan. Geely’s diverse product strategy integrates fuel, electric, and hybrid vehicles, meeting varied customer needs worldwide.
Geely has established a significant market presence, ranking among the top three Chinese brand vehicle sales in 14 countries, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar and the Philippines. The Coolray SUV leads B-segment sales in multiple countries, while the flagship Monjaro and new-generation Emgrand have also achieved top sales rankings.
Geely’s expansion includes over 120 new sales and service outlets, now totalling more than 650 across 76 countries. The company is also setting up subsidiaries in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Latin America, and planning further expansion into regions like Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and Vietnam.
With a 2024 export target increase from 330,000 to 380,000 units, Geely Auto is focused on market segmentation, product innovation and global supply chain enhancement to ensure sustainable growth. The company aims to provide diversified, high-quality services globally, maintaining its trajectory of high-value international expansion.
