Triple Michelin-Starred Whammy!

The Gulf Hotel will welcome a trio of Michelin-starred chefs this month to work their magic in the iconic venue’s kitchens.

As well as upgrades and special offers in many of the hotel’s award-winning restaurants, November promises to be a treat for all you serious foodies, with a chance to meet, greet and dine with some of the world’s most celebrated culinary masters.

The Artisan Cook
Keeping a watchful eye on the relaunched restaurant which bears his name, La Pergola by Perbellini sees the return of chef Giancarlo Perbellini from November 4 to 9. He’s known for his devotion to fresh, seasonal, local produce tempering the taste of tradition with innovation, and is famed for his amazing pastry creations and all-round creativity.

The TV Star
The Gulf Hotel prides its outlets not only for delectable culinary journeys, but also on exclusive experiences, that will leave you with a taste to remember! And that’s certainly true from November 20 to 24 when two-Michelin-starred celeb chef Wout Bru takes over the kitchen at Fusions. Chef Bru has presented several TV cooking shows and is a judge on the second season of the Flemish version of MasterChef. His speciality is revisiting the classics to take them to another level.

The Indian Trailblazer
Vineet Bhatia is widely regarded as the ‘face’ of modern, progressive Indian cuisine. He created history in 2001 by being the first Indian chef-patron to receive the coveted Michelin star. He returns to The Gulf Hotel’s Rasoi by Vineet from November 27 to December 1 and guests can join in a cooking class with the master and share the lunch table with him.

Elsewhere in the hotel, the all-new Al Waha restaurant is now open, featuring new décor and even more amazing food to try. It’s open all week. Head down on Friday to try the huge buffet brunch or Saturday for the special Arabic brunch. There’s also a spectacular seafood evening on Thursdays with cooking stations by the pool and live music.

And, at China Garden, chef Ding welcomes Peking duck lovers to enjoy the authentic and amazing taste of aromatised duck with Hoisin sauce, scallions and homemade Chinese pancakes paired with a special red grape.
The hotel’s regular cooking classes run on November 3, 10 and 17, with a star class on November 24 with guest chef Wout Bru.
