Nu Asia, Bahrain’s pioneering Asian casual dining restaurant, is celebrating its 10th year anniversary with a bang! The well-known culinary name has been refreshed, and has taken on a new brand identity. The restaurant chain has officially relaunched its flagship outlet at Al Aali Shopping Complex with a brand-new contemporary Asian interior and a re-inspired eclectic menu. In keeping with its fresh image, the venue’s décor has a chic, urbane vibe, featuring Asian-inspired elements including a 20-metre commissioned mural. The restaurant can accommodate approximately 120 guests.
The food repertoire boasts an array of dishes from all over the Asian continent. Some of the new dishes on offer are Pani Puri (an Indian street food favourite), Korean Bao Buns, Thai Massaman Curry, Mughlai Biryani and Phaal, a Bangladeshi curry so spicy that they’re calling it the hottest on the island! The new menu is available at all four branches: Al Aali Shopping Complex in Seef, Palm Square on Budaiya Road, Isa Town and Juffair. The four venues do takeaway and delivery orders as well.
Since opening in 2008, Nu Asia has become synonymous with casual dining, with emphasis on a high-quality, yet affordable, authentic Asian-inspired dining experience. The menu has always highlighted popular dishes from India, China, Thailand and Japan. However, it has now added dishes from other trendy Asian cuisines, including those of Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Bangladesh. Director of Al Abraaj Restaurants Group, Hamad Rashed says: “We are proud to relaunch our successful chain of Nu Asia restaurants with an all-new and improved look and feel, and a very exciting menu. Our flagship restaurant in Al Aali Shopping Complex has been the first to undergo this facelift, and we’re confident that all our guests will enjoy the new experience.”
