Verdict: Exciting and one to keep your eyes out for

David Gilmour Luck and StrangeWhat’s the story? 
David Gilmour’s fifth studio album, Luck and Strange, is set to be released by Sony Music on September 6. The album, produced by Charlie Andrew and Gilmour, features lyrics by Gilmour’s wife Polly Samson, who discusses aging and mortality. The album also features contributions from their youngsters. Richard Wright, the late Pink Floyd keyboardist, contributed keyboard tracks in 2007. Gilmour is set to start a tour in September.

Worth a listen? 
From performing music on live-streams during COVID to exploring new musical ideas and bringing out this fresh new album Luck and Strange. There is no doubt that the effort that has gone into this album surpasses the usual expectation from Gilmour.

The country singer announced the release of her first album in six years during her set at Spotify House at Ole Red during CMA Fest. Danielle Bradbery’s first independent album in over six years, Danielle which is set to release on September 6 explores themes of heartbreak and healing. The deeply personal project reflects Bradbery’s growth and resilience, with tracks that range from introspective ballads to empowering anthems.

Highway Prayers is the latest studio album by GRAMMY Award-winning artist Billy Strings. This ambitious project features 20 original tracks that blend elements of bluegrass, folk, and rock. The album was produced by Billy Strings alongside Jon Brion, known for his work with Fiona Apple and Mac Miller. The first single, Leadfoot, is already available setting a promising tone for the album.
