Mariusz Tymosiewicz, General Manager of Fraser Suites Seef Bahrain, tells us how his property is dealing with the current challenging circumstances.
How have you ensured the safety and comfort of your guests during the period of coronavirus restrictions?
We have been very fortunate to have heathy occupancies throughout this pandemic in our award-winning luxury serviced apartments here and globally.
We offer accommodation suitable for long-stay guests who enjoy the home comforts away from home, from fully fitted kitchens to separate dining and bedrooms. With a choice of full service or, if they choose, they can select the level of service they want, where sometimes less contact is preferred.
In response to the pandemic, Frasers Hospitality launched a worldwide initiative called #Fraser Cares which not only implemented WHO safety and guidelines as a baseline, but we also went above what was required to reassure our guests that their health and well-being continues to remain at the heart of what we do. Some of the measures taken by us include:
Have you introduced any new safety measures in the dining process?
Food is still a great part of our total offering. Whilst our guests can cook in their apartments, many continue to order in-room dining from us, from breakfast to lunch and dinner. Having a dining area in the apartments offers you a safer means to enjoy your meal in safe surrounding.
On top of new set menus, we have also introduced a contactless process during the food and beverage procedure, offering our guests safe choices.
How are you preparing for the relaxing of restrictions?
Ensuring safe distancing and maximum capacity control would be key, in addition to all the above-mentioned heightened cleaning and sanitisation.
Our teams have undergone thorough training to prepare for the re-opening of our restaurant and will ensure that all precautions and safety measures are strictly adhered to.
This also includes our staff safety and well-being.
