Frasers Hospitality’s properties are known to be a premier choice for Saudis planning their stay in Bahrain. With the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s National Day soon approaching, Farah Baig spoke to Fraser Suites Seef and Fraser Suites Al Liwan Bahrain Cluster General Manager, Mariusz Tymosiewicz, about his experience in the industry and the hotels’ plans for Saudi visitors this September.
Mariusz Tymosiewicz is an experienced hotel management professional with over two decades of experience. He has amassed extensive expertise in pre-opening operations, hotel management and project management across various properties in Australia, Singapore and Bahrain working for Frasers Hospitality and Intercontinental Hotel Group.
“I have a proven track record of successfully overseeing large-scale projects, including the opening and refurbishment of luxury hotel properties while ensuring brand compliance,” states Mr. Tymosiewicz.
Anchored by its heritage of providing extended stays and catering to the diverse needs of modern travellers. “Fraser Suites Seef and Fraser Suites Al Liwan offer a different home from home experience. We aspire to be the choice for a range of travellers, including relocating expatriates, families, digital nomads and leisure travellers,” he explains.
Since its inauguration earlier this year, Fraser Suites Al Liwan has received positive feedback from guests, particularly Saudi nationals, given its location and proximity to the King Fahad Causeway. “Our Saudi guests appreciate the blend of luxury, accessibility and excellent service our properties offer. Fraser Suites Al Liwan has a striking design and cosy lobby café, but what makes it even more compelling is the fact that it is located in a vibrant new district, Al Liwan,” he believes.
Sun-soaked terraces, a vibrant indoor entertainment centre, a partner gym, cinema, shops and restaurants across the district make Fraser Suites Al Liwan and excellent choice for visitors.
Al Liwan will act as a focal point to the surrounding area for shopping, meeting and relaxing. The site connects various uses of retail, restaurants and coffee shops, whilst Yabeela & Cineco provide kids’ entertainment. Yabeela is Bahrain’s largest and latest fully featured, indoor family entertainment centre at Al Liwan.
The group’s flagship property in Bahrain, Fraser Suites Seef, offers a range of impressive facilities and amenities designed to enhance guest stays. “Guests can take a refreshing dip in the outdoor swimming pool, which is temperature-controlled for comfort. The gym, boasting panoramic views of the city, provides a perfect setting for maintaining their fitness routine. Additionally, the property is directly connected to Seef Mall, offering convenience for shopping and dining,” he says.
Highlighting the advantages of being at the helm of two hospitality properties, he says: “It allows us to have a greater presence in the market. In addition, we are able to share resources and best practices while having the opportunity for cross-promotion between the two properties,” he says.
“But most importantly looking at the scale of our brands, it gives us growth potential as it can serve as a strong foundation for future expansion,” he adds.
The properties have specials offers in store for Saudi visitors on the occasion of Saudi National Day. Fraser Suites will offer a 20 percent discount on room rates while Fraser Suites Al Liwan will offer a discount of 18 percent on room rates. Both properties offer free cancellation up to 6pm, one day prior to arrival and do not require pre-payment.
“On this joyous occasion of Saudi National Day, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to you all. This day is a celebration of your nation’s rich history, remarkable achievements, and the unity and spirit of its people. May this National Day be filled with pride, joy, and reflection on the incredible journey and bright future that lies ahead. Here’s to honouring the culture, heritage, and vision that make Saudi Arabia truly exceptional!” he concludes.
