










Alfa Romeo Runs 33 Stradale Test

Formula 1 driver Valtteri Bottas recently tested the 00 prototype of the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale at the iconic Balocco Proving Ground. Known for its precision and performance, the 33 Stradale is equipped with a 3.0-litre V6 twin-turbo engine producing over 620bhp, achieving speeds of 333kmph and accelerating from 0-100kmph in under three seconds. Bottas, a member of Alfa Romeo’s exclusive Club 33, praised the car’s intuitive handling, powerful engine and driver-focused minimalistic interior.
The testing session emphasised the car’s dynamic goals, including balance, braking precision and human-machine symbiosis. Bottas experienced both Strada and Pista driving modes, showcasing the car’s versatility and performance.
Alfa Romeo engineers highlighted features like active suspension, carbon-ceramic brakes and a dual-arm suspension system for optimal handling. Bottas also tested the Junior 280 Veloce, Alfa Romeo’s 100 percent electric sports compact. The 33 Stradale blends supercar-level performance with accessibility for non-professional drivers, making it a standout in its class.
