Speed Six Continuation Series Completes Test Programme

At this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, Mulliner’s Speed Six Continuation Series made its dynamic debut, with the Bedford Grey 205 BHP ‘Factory Works’ car successfully completing eight hill climb runs. This marked the final development stage for Mulliner’s latest creation.

The main prototype, Car Zero, excelled in dyno and racetrack tests, covering 11,700km in rigorous conditions, equivalent to 30,000km of normal driving. Professional drivers further tested it at Goodwood Motor Circuit, completing 500km and 130 laps flawlessly. The 6,597cc straight-six engine, built to original specifications, passed extensive 40-hour dyno tests.

Customer cars are now being built, tailored to owners’ specifications with period-correct finishes. These cars, benefiting from modern precision and materials, will perform reliably on standard unleaded fuel and feature new tyres with vintage tread patterns.
