If you aren’t into motorsport, that doesn’t mean you have to miss the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix. The event, which takes places from 3-5 March, is going to be filled with a star-studded entertainment line-up that would make a great concert, sans the added excitement of a spectacular race.
The Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) announced Grammy-nominated star Craig David will perform at the F1 in Sakhir. He will perform his famous TS5 DJ set on Saturday night.
The platinum-selling musician has worked with stars including Sting, Bastille, Muni Long, KSI and Justin Bieber.
He has performed his infamous TS5 set around the world, including at the world-famous Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury.
He isn’t the only star to perform at the F1. Fans will also be treated to a performance by DJ Snake, who will headline a concert on Friday night. The multi-platinum selling DJ and producer has worked with global pop acts including Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez and Cardi B.
Of course, the entertainment isn’t limited. Everyone with F1 tickets will have free entrance to the concerts.

The F1 in Bahrain is legendary for its large variety of entertainment available over the weekend. Classical ballerinas on stilts is just one highlight. These ballerinas wear colourful dresses and do pirouettes and complicated choreography while on stilts.
The prima band turn streets into a stage with juggling, acrobatics and dances. From folk to jazz and even pop, the audience is part of the show.
Parkel Drums is a young group that has gained global recognition in the world of percussion performances. The batucada style is immersive and again, fans at the show will be no doubt be engaged in the show.
Circo di Strada is an immersive variety of theatrical performances which include artists on silts, juggling, unicycling and walking globe.
Roving theatre shows including Aladdin and the Magic Lamp, Beauty & the Beast and Wizards of Oz.
It’s a family affair and the F1 has catered for everyone. Whether you’ll be dancing to Craig David, DJ Snake or catching a theatre show, the F1 is one of Bahrain’s best social events.
The Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay is also celebrating the F1 weekend with two parties. On March 2 there will be a F1 Pit Stop party at the beach deck. The deck will have DJ Mysterioo Arif & Cellist Anna, DJ Katrin & Saxophonist Elton, DJ Kristina V and violinist Lana at the event. The party starts at 8pm and ends at 2am. Early bird tickets (first 100 tickets) BHD 18 net per person. Normal tickets are BHD 28 per person (Ticket includes one welcome drink; additional food and beverages are priced as per consumption).
There will also be a Wolfgang Puck Lawn Party. Chef Puck and executive chef Brian Becher will fire up the grill i a Japanese-inspired theme, inviting guests to indulge in mouthwatering grills like Wagyu Beef, Lobster and Japanese Cuisine specialties such as tempura, onigiri, and the famous Japanese Bluefin Tuna Sushi.
