Honoured Scholars

Two British School of Bahrain students have been awarded the prestigious Crown Prince’s International Scholarship, continuing the school’s proud tradition of academic excellence and leadership.

BSB is celebrating the achievements of two exceptional students, Bedoor Ahmed and Feras Hasan, who have been named recipients of the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Programme (CPISP). This marks the third consecutive year BSB students have earned this prestigious honour.

The CPISP, established by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, supports Bahrain’s most talented students to pursue higher education at some of the world’s top universities. The programme aims to develop globally-minded leaders and future contributors to national progress.

Executive Headteacher Ms. Liz Stanley expressed her pride in the students’ accomplishments, saying: “We are incredibly proud of Bedoor and Feras for this extraordinary achievement. Their success is testament to their perseverance, integrity and passion for excellence. It also highlights the strength of our academic and values-based education at BSB, which empowers students to thrive on the global stage.”

Both students reflected on the impact of the scholarship and the support they received from BSB. Bedoor, who gained admission to a Top 10 university, said: “The Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Programme has been a truly transformative experience, shaping both my academic journey and personal growth. I am especially grateful to Mr. Andrew Rogers for his unwavering support and guidance.”

Feras added: “I extend my sincere gratitude to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his visionary leadership. I also wish to express heartfelt thanks to the CPISP team, my family, friends and all of my teachers at BSB whose support has been instrumental in my development.”

This milestone highlights BSB’s enduring commitment to nurturing future leaders through academic rigour, character-building and global readiness. The school also extended its appreciation to His Royal Highness for his ongoing investment in youth and education.
