The official coronation ceremony of King Charles is fast approaching and if you want to get in on the action from Bahrain, we’ve got you covered. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 6 May 2023, at Westminster Abbey, but here's how you can enjoy this moment in history in Bahrain.
Charles ascended to the throne following the death of Queen Elizabeth II in September 2022. Camilla was originally going to be using the title of Queen Consort, but will now be crowned Queen at Westminster Abbey.
The coronation is on May 6 and Bahrain is ready to celebrate with you. Here’s how you can get into the royal mood…

There will be a Coronation Street Party on Friday, 5th May. This is a pre-event ahead of the big day. The event starts from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This event will have a bake-off, inflatables, a photobooth and British menu items.
Coronation day will see live coverage of the event from 9am.
There will be a big breakfast buffet from 8am-12pm. After that, a special coronation menu will be available from 12pm-10pm.

So, what happens on the main day?
Here's a schedule so you know what will go down:
9am: The congregation to be seated inside Westminster Abbey
9:30am-10:45am: VIP guests, including the royal family and heads of state arrive
10:20am: The King and Queen will begin their trip from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey. This will be in the Diamond Jubilee State Coach. This trip will be watched by millions across the globe
11am: The coronation begins
1pm: Coronation procession begins
2:15pm: Members of the royal family will gather on the balcony of Buckingham Palace
