The English Language Congregation (ELC) is one of the seven congregations that make up the National Evangelical Church in the Kingdom of Bahrain (NEC) and traces its his­tory to 1893 when Rev. Samuel Zwemer and his small team of missionaries from the Reformed Church in Amer­ica (RCA) arrived in Bahrain and established the first protes­tant church in the Ara­bian Gulf.

For over a cen­tury now, Chris­tians from all over the world gather together to wor­ship and ­serve as one body of believ­ers united in faith, hope and love.
